10 Downing
Meyer Davis Studio is excited to announce the opening of 10 Downing, a new modern bistro located in Manhattan’s West Village. Industry veterans Stephane Dorian (Waterloo, Le Zoo), Vincent Seufert (5 Ninth, Rhone) and Joel Michel (5 Ninth) have partnered to establish a neighborhood eatery that will appeal to locals, visitors and food lovers alike.
The chic, ambient space features luxuriant marble bars, cream leather banquettes, coffee colored tiles, large communal table, private party area, ebonized oak floors and modern light fixtures. Boqueria SoHo is similar in style to Boqueria Flatiron, however the design has evolved to compliment the new, larger location (formerly Kin Khao restaurant) and was carefully customized to appeal to the modern tastes of cosmopolitan locals.
Under direction from partners Joel Michel and Vincent Seufert, Meyer Davis Studio created a stylish and relaxed space that manages the perfect balance between classic and contemporary. The chic simplicity of the design serves as an ideal showcase for the restaurant’s art collection as10 Downing pays lively tribute to New York’s art scene by featuring pieces selected by local gallery owner,Tracy Williams.
